Sew, do not iron

Nylon, waterproof and coated shells, leather, faux leather and vinyl all fail under a hot iron — they melt or mark before the glue activates. Avoid pressing over an existing printed graphic. Polyester is borderline: a cooler iron, a pressing cloth, and a test on an inside seam first.

Application

Flatten the garment with the iron before you start. Set the crest, cover it with a thin cotton cloth, and press with firm, unbroken pressure — dry heat only. Let it cool fully before it moves; cooling is when the bond actually forms. Anything washed weekly should get a stitched border on top of the adhesive.

Care

Inside out, cold, gentle, low heat or air dry. No bleach, no softener. Iron from the reverse if the garment needs a press later.
