How to apply

Place the patch, cover it with a thin cloth, press firmly with heat, then let it cool before handling. For heavy wear, bags, or textured fabric, add a few stitches around the edge.

All four house crests in one order: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each is the same single embroidered crest we sell on its own — roughly 3.5 by 4 inches, iron-on backing, stitched densely enough that the crest reads from across a room — packed together for a group costume, a set of siblings, a classroom, or one jacket that refuses to pick a side.

What's included

  • 1 Gryffindor house crest patch — approximately 3.5 × 4 inches
  • 1 Hufflepuff house crest patch — approximately 3.5 × 4 inches
  • 1 Ravenclaw house crest patch — approximately 3.5 × 4 inches
  • 1 Slytherin house crest patch — approximately 3.5 × 4 inches

Bundle value

  • $47.96 when purchased separately
  • $39.99 set price — save $7.97 (about 17%)
  • Qualifies for free tracked U.S. shipping

Who buys the set

Mostly groups. Four friends going as the four houses, a family splitting them between kids, a teacher outfitting a classroom, a wedding party. The other common buyer is someone building one costume robe or backpack and wanting all four on it. If you only need one or two houses, the singles are the better buy.

Fabrics they bond to

Cotton and cotton-blend jackets, hoodies and tees; denim; canvas totes and backpack panels; cotton costume robes. Denim and heavy cotton canvas are the most forgiving surfaces.

Fabrics to sew instead

Nylon, waterproof or coated shells, leather, faux leather, vinyl, anything with a printed graphic underneath, and most synthetic costume satin — these scorch or refuse to bond. Polyester can work on a lower setting with a pressing cloth, but test an inside seam first. Cheap costume robes are very often polyester; check the label before you press.

Applying them

Press the garment flat. Position the crest, cover with a thin cotton cloth, and apply firm steady pressure with a dry iron — no steam. Let it cool completely before moving anything; the bond sets as it cools. Do one crest at a time. On anything that goes through the wash weekly, run a stitch around the border too.

Washing

Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, tumble low or hang. No bleach, no fabric softener. Press from the reverse only.

Good to know

  • Four physical embroidered patches, one of each house
  • Fixed set; houses cannot be swapped or doubled — add singles to the order for extras
  • Ships as one package from Raleigh, NC
