How to apply

Place the patch, cover it with a thin cloth, press firmly with heat, then let it cool before handling. For heavy wear, bags, or textured fabric, add a few stitches around the edge.

Bulk and wholesale

For events, teams, retail displays, or larger quantities, use the bulk inquiry page and include the product name plus your target quantity.

Hufflepuff is the one that most often gets bought alongside another house — a sibling pair, a couple, a group of four splitting the set between them. Because we sell each house separately, that works out cleanly: buy exactly the houses you need, none of the ones you do not. Single embroidered crest patch, roughly 3.5 by 4 inches, iron-on backing.

The size is a touch wider than a credit card and nearly twice as tall, which puts it comfortably on a chest panel, a backpack front, or the front of a robe.

What it sticks to

Cotton, cotton blends, denim and canvas are all straightforward. Denim and heavy cotton canvas are the most forgiving — they hold heat well and do not shift while you press. Cotton costume robes are fine; thin synthetic ones are not.

What needs a needle

Nylon, coated or waterproof outerwear, leather, faux leather and vinyl should be sewn, not pressed — the fabric gives out before the adhesive activates. Do not iron over a printed graphic. Polyester sits in between: lower the iron a setting, use a pressing cloth, and try a hidden seam before you commit to the visible panel.

How to press it

Iron the area flat first. Position the crest, cover with a thin cotton cloth, and press hard with a dry iron, holding steady rather than sliding. Do not move the garment until it has cooled all the way down. On anything worn and washed regularly, add a stitch around the edge — the glue positions it, the thread keeps it.

Washing

Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, tumble low or hang. Bleach and fabric softener both shorten the life of the bond. Press from the reverse side only.

Questions we get

Buying more than one house — do they ship together? Yes, one order ships as one package. Free tracked U.S. shipping on every order, with no minimum.

Is there a discount for all four? Yes — the four-house set is $39.99, which saves $7.97 against buying the singles.

Will it hold on a kid's backpack? On a flat cotton or canvas panel, yes. Sew the border if it is going to be dragged through a school year.
