Two fully embroidered USA flag patches with a gold merrowed border, 3.5 x 2.25 inches each (8.9 x 5.7 cm). Each one has 50 stitched stars and 13 stripes in about 11,500 stitches, so it is embroidered, not printed. It is the same patch as our gold-border single, packed as a matching pair.
Why the pair
Two flags let you match a jacket and a cap, run one on each sleeve, or keep one as a spare. About the size of a bank card, it fits a cap front, a jacket sleeve or chest, or a backpack pocket.
Where it bonds
Cotton, cotton blends, denim and cotton canvas. Use a dry iron with no steam: 35 to 45 seconds on the front under a thin cloth, then 35 to 45 seconds from the back, and let it cool fully.
Where to sew
Nylon, polyester shells, coated and waterproof fabric, leather, faux leather and vinyl. Uniforms are frequently polyester or a poly blend, so sew those, and check your organisation's placement rules before attaching anything permanently.
Orientation
The stars sit on the left, the standard flag view. On a right sleeve some uniforms use a reversed flag so the union faces forward; this pack is the standard orientation.
Care
Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, low tumble or hang. No bleach and no fabric softener.
