How to apply

Place the patch, cover it with a thin cloth, press firmly with heat, then let it cool before handling. For heavy wear, bags, or textured fabric, add a few stitches around the edge.

Bulk and wholesale

For events, teams, retail displays, or larger quantities, use the bulk inquiry page and include the product name plus your target quantity.

Two matching glow-in-the-dark skull patches, about 3 by 2.5 inches each. The pair is the point: one for a jacket and one for a bag, one on each sleeve, or one applied and one held back for when the first eventually needs replacing.

Why two is the right number

Most people who buy a single patch end up wanting a second one months later, usually for a different item, and by then the design may have moved on. A pair solves that up front, and symmetrical placement — both sleeves, both sides of a bag — is a look that a single patch simply cannot produce.

The glow

Phosphorescent pigment sits inside the thread, so it washes and wears without losing the effect. A few minutes under a bright lamp charges it; sunlight charges it faster. Brightest immediately after charging, fading gradually. It needs to face the light source to take a charge, and it will look far brighter to eyes that have adjusted to a dark room.

Fabrics

Cotton, cotton blends, denim and cotton canvas all take the iron-on backing. Nylon, polyester shells, coated or waterproof fabric, leather, faux leather and vinyl need to be sewn instead — they mark or melt under a hot iron. Polyester needs a cooler setting, a pressing cloth and a test on a hidden seam.

Applying both

Do them one at a time rather than trying to line up two at once. Press the area flat, position the first patch, cover it with a thin cotton cloth, press with firm dry heat, and let it cool completely before starting the second. Measure from a seam rather than by eye if the two need to match across a chest or a pair of sleeves.

Care

Inside out, cold, gentle, low heat or hang dry. No bleach or fabric softener. Press from the reverse if the garment needs ironing later.

Questions we get

Are both patches identical? Yes, two of the same design.

Can I put one on a hat? Flat-front caps only, and even then sewing is safer. Curved and foam-front caps should be sewn.

Do they glow the same colour? Yes, they are the same thread.

More pairs and packs in patch bundles and sets; more night-visible designs in the glow collection.
