Two India flag patches, about 3.5 by 2.5 inches each. Saffron, white and green with the Ashoka Chakra at the centre — twenty-four spokes in a small space, which is precisely why this flag does not work as a tiny patch. At 3.5 inches the wheel still reads as a wheel.

Fabrics that take it
Cotton, cotton blends, denim and cotton canvas. Cotton canvas and denim are the most reliable — even heat, no shifting under the iron.
Fabrics that need sewing
Nylon suitcases and packs, polyester shells, coated or waterproof fabric, leather, faux leather and vinyl. Hard-shell luggage is not a patch surface at all. Cricket shirts are performance polyester — sew, do not press.
Applying both
One at a time, with a thin cotton cloth over the patch and firm dry heat. Let each cool completely. For a matched pair, measure from a fixed reference rather than judging by eye — horizontal flags show a tilt that a round patch would hide.
Care
Inside out, cold, gentle, tumble low or hang. No bleach, no fabric softener. Press from the reverse only.
