How to apply

Place the patch, cover it with a thin cloth, press firmly with heat, then let it cool before handling. For heavy wear, bags, or textured fabric, add a few stitches around the edge.

Bulk and wholesale

For events, teams, retail displays, or larger quantities, use the bulk inquiry page and include the product name plus your target quantity.

Two France flag patches, about 3.5 by 2.5 inches each. Three vertical bands and nothing else — which makes the tricolour one of the few flags that works as pure graphic design, holding up on a jacket long after the trip that prompted it.

Why the pair

Vertical-band flags look especially good in symmetry: one on each sleeve, or one on a jacket and one on the bag that travels with it. A single patch cannot do that, and buying a second one later means placing another order.

Fabrics that take it

Cotton, cotton blends, denim and cotton canvas. Denim jackets and cotton totes are the easiest surfaces; both hold heat evenly and the patch stays put.

Fabrics to sew

Nylon packs and shells, coated or waterproof outerwear, leather, faux leather and vinyl. Packable travel jackets are nearly always synthetic — check the label before you reach for the iron.

Getting them straight

Vertical bands make any tilt obvious. Align the top edge to a seam, or lay a strip of painter's tape as a guide, and check it twice before you press — the adhesive gives you no second chance once it has cooled.

Care

Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, tumble low or hang. No bleach, no fabric softener. Iron from the reverse side only.

Questions we get

Are both patches identical? Yes, a matching pair.

Good for a school or exchange trip? Yes — on a cotton bag or jacket it presses in a few minutes.
