Two patches, about 3 by 2.5 inches each — but unlike the other sets in the catalogue, these are two different designs: the beige Mr. Robot patch and an fsociety patch. It is the only mixed pair we stock, and it solves a problem the matching sets do not.
Why a mixed pair beats a matching one here
Matching patches are for symmetry — two sleeves, two bag faces. A mixed pair is for a run: two related but distinct designs stacked down a placket, along a sleeve, or across a back panel, which reads as a collection rather than a repeat. It is also the cheapest way to find out which colourway you actually prefer on your own jacket, under your own light, rather than guessing from a product photo.
Placing two different designs
Keep the spacing tight and consistent — roughly one patch-width apart — and align them on a shared edge rather than centring each independently. Two patches of the same size with a common left edge look intentional; two floated at slightly different angles look accidental.
Fabrics
Cotton, cotton blends, denim and cotton canvas take the adhesive. Nylon, polyester shells, coated or waterproof fabric, leather, faux leather and vinyl need sewing. Polyester: cooler iron, pressing cloth, hidden test seam.
Applying them
One at a time. Press the first, cover with a thin cotton cloth, firm dry heat, and let it cool completely before positioning the second. Stitch both borders on anything worn regularly.
Care
Inside out, cold, gentle cycle, low tumble or hang. No bleach, no fabric softener.
